Sports and fitness

Merrimack’s intramural sports program offers more than fifteen leagues and tournaments. You can play a wide range of sports, including flag football, soccer, ice hockey, and dodgeball. The newly renovated fitness center also provides a variety of sports and fitness activities.

The Hamel Health and Counseling Center provides comprehensive support services, from treating health issues and issuing medications to providing individual counseling support.

Nearby Andover

The classic American town of Andover is within the walking distance of campus. The town has everything you need to live comfortably, from restaurants to independent boutiques, coffee shops and bookstores. There is also a range of outdoor activities to enjoy in the area, from golf and hiking to cross-country skiing and canoeing along the beautiful Shawsheen River.

The nearby Harold Parker State Forest is ideal for fishing, camping, biking, and horseback riding.

As a student in the Pre-Master’s Program, you have an opportunity to in modern, apartment-style housing with students from around the world.*

Merrimack apartments at Royal Crest

Conveniently located across the road from Merrimack, Royal Crest apartments provide comfortable living spaces in a beautifully landscaped environment.

Up to four students (two per room) live in each fully furnished apartment that has a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a living room. Apartments also feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, cable, and laundry facilities.

In your room you will have your own twin XL bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet space. The kitchen space includes appliances, a table, and four chairs. Each living room is furnished with a couch.

As a Royal Crest resident you will have access to the on-site fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, walking trails, and parking facilities.

Great food options

College meal plans provide the ultimate in convenience and flexibility. As a resident student you will be enrolled on a standard apartment meal plan, with five meals per week. Other dining plans offering more meals are also available.
