As a Pre-Master’s student you will feel a part of Merrimack’s supportive campus community from day one. You will have the opportunity to forge new friendships, try new things, and get involved with on-campus activities.
Food and entertainment
You can watch movies and relax at the 47 Lounge, listen to live music at Augie’s Pub, grab a snack at the Warrior’s Den or Zime, or go for a traditional cafeteria experience at Sparky’s Place.
From writing for the student newspaper, "The Beacon", to building a concrete canoe with the American Society of Civil Engineers, there is a club to suit every interest.
Sports and fitness
Merrimack’s intramural sports program offers more than fifteen leagues and tournaments. You can play a wide range of sports, including flag football, soccer, ice hockey, and dodgeball. The newly renovated fitness center also provides a variety of sports and fitness activities.
The Hamel Health and Counseling Center provides comprehensive support services, from treating health issues and issuing medications to providing individual counseling support.
The classic American town of Andover is within walking distance of campus. The town has everything you need to live comfortably, from restaurants to independent boutiques, coffee shops and bookstores.
There is also a range of outdoor activities to enjoy in the area, from golfing and hiking to cross-country skiing and canoeing along the beautiful Shawsheen River.
The nearby Harold Parker State Forest is ideal for fishing, camping, biking, and horseback riding.
